The chemical brothers are great. “Dig your own hole” is one of the best albums of the 90s, “Surrender” and “Exit Planet Dust” are not just as good, but still worthy to remember. And now (I know, I’m lagging) there’s Galvanize. Heard it in a club two weeks ago for the first time, and the Mojowax-DJ played it too. It’s THE song to move your body to, I especially like the slightly oriental sample; did not listen to the complete album yet, but this song rocks.

Been to the mojowax-party, which is in my party top five for almost ten years now.
And I saw a nice girl with a pretty cool dance style. So I started talking to her. We danced. Danced a bit closer. But when I wanted to kiss her, she said:
“Ehm, you misjudge the situation.”
- So, you’ve got a boy-friend?, I asked.
“No, but I’m older than you think.”
She had told me before that she had written her last law examination.
- Well, you are at least 25, aren’t you?
I was already quite amused, because I really could not believe her being older than me, i.e. 30. After some more guessing, she told me she’s 29.
She didn’t say how old she’d guessed me, but it must be 25 maximum. Why the fuss otherwise. As the party-goers tend to become younger (it’s not the case that we are getting older, of course), mutual relief showed in our faces; old deer recognizes each other instinctively.
In the end, the evening turned out to be very nice, with a wonderful conclusion at the channel watching the sunrise. We’ll meet again tomorrow.
Talking about age: I was wasted yesterday. Going to bed at 7 a.m. and getting up at 11 a.m. is just not enough bed-time.
