18 03 2005Finally bought my first LARP-weapon. I’ve built about 4, but this one seemed a good bargain:
I hope, it proves worthy in LARP-combat.

C. of course wants to rule the world, wealth etc. Which he does not get.
H. just wants a tuna sandwich. Which he gets.
As the famous centuries-old saying goes: a katana in your hand is better than a new pc on the roof. i meant to say: a katana in the hand is worth two in the bush.

Apropos two: 40 bucks really seems like a fair deal to me. Was it a special offer or are there more for this price?
When will you test it?
It is a special offer (the production got cancelled or something), but they have more swords. Don’t know if it was the last katana though. Just called them, on monday they will know if they can get another katana. They have other cheap swords as well. So just check out this, maybe they have it for a fine price.
They do have the sabre which is nice too.
Test: well, the Pulk will be the next possibility. Though it should be a Ka-Djin Con.

What a coincidence! Been there half an hour ago, they will get it end of April.

Yes, indeed we should. Didn’t you told me something about there were only a few left? Did you test the weapon already? Maybe you had a bad date which you beat up?
The shopkeeper told me on my first visit, there are just a few left. But yesterday it sounded a bit different. Who knows…
And the date went well, no need for the katana there. I tested it on J. a bit though.
