Love actually
21 02 2005Saw the movie on DVD, it’s a lot better than expected.
And the old rock star (forgot his name) is great. Very good at swearing, too.
Why do I mention that in a seperate entry, you may ask yourself.
Because of love.
Because my best friend is pregnant!!!!
Unbelievable.
And wonderful.
Almost makes me jealous of being a man.
I mean, imagine having a little human in your belly…
That reminds me of something.
Alien?
Seriously tho: While I can understand your joy for someone elses happiness, it’s a little to hard for me to imagine pregnancy.
I asked myself this question a couple of times last year. I couldn’t imagine it too. It’s at least as scary as this Alien-stuff.
Scary?
I always find this thought magnificent.
Ok, very hard to imagine, but still.
It sounds like you have the romantic vision of the miracle of birth. I see it this way: cells start growing in your belly, like cancer. But then it starts to live. Inside of you! You feel it kicking and hickuping where it shouldn’t while you getting fater and fater until your skin burst and you feel ill and handycapped all the time. Then this little Alienthing wants out which often only works if you get cutted up. And when it’s outside it don’t even look human. The only way to stand pregnancy are your bodyown drugs which often let you feel totally confused and stupid anyway. All that isn’t magnificent that’s horror! I wonder why I often met guys who see it your way but only one woman who said pregnancy is wonderful. It’s the fascination of things you can’t get I suppose.
