Went out for dinner with a friend to a bar-restaurant.
We ordered two meals planning to share them. One pasta gratin and one chicken Schnitzel with potatoes.
Unfortunately, the Schnitzel was way too salty, so we returned it. They had to change the meal though into turkey as the marinade was the reason for the salt problem, so all chicken was spoiled.
When the turkey arrived, guess what: no salt at all. And the potatoes (which were fine the first time) were not boiled properly. But we did not want to make another fuss, so we nibbled the salat and that was it.
But when we asked the waitress, whether we have to pay the full price for this again-spoiled meal, the manager started to rumble to the other guests about us being impertinent. After we payed (quite a high bill), we had a little argument with him and left.
After a few minutes I started wondering: why did we pay more than 30 Euro for two drinks and two meals. Did they bill us the spoiled one twice?
So we returned to the place, already laughing because the whole scene got a surreal, absurd notion. They looked at the bill and: tatata, three cafe latte, one cappuchino etc. which none of us had. So we got back 14 Euros, one free drink, lots of apologies.
And the manager said in despair: Recommend us. Haha.
