So now it seems to be time for a winter-depression-agression. Not the best combination, I admit. I hope it will disappear soon.
Hmm. Just a little more than 24 hours have passed. And the worst fit seems to have gone. Maybe reading about the Dalai Lama was helping. What a delightful and interesting person…

In times of troubled hearts, this is one of my favourites:
“When we two parted”
[Spoilers] “When we two parted”
When we two parted
In silence and tears,
Half broken-hearted
To sever for years,
Pale grew thy check and cold,
Colder thy kiss;
Truly that hour foretold
Sorrow to this.
The dew of the morning
Sunk chill on my brow -
It felt like the warning
Of what I feel know.
Thy vows are all broken,
And light is thy fame;
I hear thy name spoken,
And share in its shame.
They name thee before me,
A knell to mine ear;
A shudder comes o’er me -
Why wert thou so dear?
They know not I knew thee,
Who knew thee too well: -
Long, long shall I rue thee,
Too deeply to tell.
In secret we met -
In silence I grieve,
That thy heart could forget,
Thy spirit deceive.
If I should meet thee
After long years,
How should I greet thee? -
With silence and tears.
Lord Byron [/Spoilers]

Check this out. Great composition. Credits for discovering the link go to lili . We all say, thank you for the music.
So ride on.
The horse on the left is not overwhelming. But especially the two on the right are beautiful. Their voices I mean.

A long time ago, when peace and harmony ruled, there were weekends. Nice, full joy and laughter. They meant times of leisure, relaxation or simply put: lying back. Starting on a nice Friday, the days were spent in bed, the zoo or the movies. But slowly times changed. Evil hunters tracked down the saturdays, enslaved them. So the sundays were all alone, frightened and not knowing where to go. They wandered here and there, and one by one, were trapped. Thus it came that the weekends were almost extinct. And the time to recharge your batteries was blown into small bits, sprayed all over the week.
No happy end this time. The good point: my weekend-work was nice and successful.
But still: i am longing for two days off in a row - feeling way too exhausted. Five busy days, and on Friday 7 p.m. I will seek the last unicorn. And the last free weekend from the old days.

Great idea: to mix up the moistening solution with the cleaning solution of my contact lenses. OUCH!!! That caused one hell of a burning, dry and red eay. Or, as the doctor put it: a heavy cauterization. (that expression scared me)
Lucky me, the two types of eyedrops the doctor prescribed worked very well (every 30 minutes, starting one hour after the incident). So no worries. Sight and world will be back to normal very soon. In an eye-blink.

Forgot my diary at K.’s place. And realized how much I depend on this little appointment-book…
Got some phone calls and had to schedule some meetings. Boy, I was just guessing about my next days. I wonder whether my brain works right. The good explanation would be: i really manage to live in the here and now, not getting distracted by the past or future troubles. The bad would be a crappy memory. Anyway, I will get my external brain back tomorrow.
But I still wonder: am I the only one with this problem?

I need a break, stress was too much. I will probably get ill. At least it feels that way. I should re-calibrate my stress-o-meter.
Now I will go to bed. And hopefully wake up restored. Good night!

What a nice weekend. The long expected visit - just recently announced here - made it. Although the weather managed to be shitty exactly for the duration of the visit. Wet and cold and windy due to hail, rain and snow. But we have been so sleepy, it probably didn’t matter anyhow. And I surely was reminded of school trips: Lying in a crowded room, giggling, making jokes, falling asleep too late…
We almost broke an old record: We ate three pizzas, a lot of pasta, bread and other stuff. And after the main course, we eliminated half a kilo of chocolate blancmange (”pudding”=a thick custard-based dessert). Time to hibernate.

so this time it was “Antigone” by the Big Dance Theatre from New York. Four women, one man. And what a man. Huge, old, a long white beard and a wonderful voice, a talented comedian as well. The women acted all the parts in a very modern conversion. Done by a poet who’s name I’ve forgotten.
They had a great mixture between dancing, singing, acting, speaking and the play was stuffed with crazy ideas. Very wild moments followed by very peaceful intimate ones. And the actress who played Antigone really gave her heart away in these silences. She was magical!
Right at the beginning, they played a very funny song being announced as a hit from the “Rrrrepublic of Usbekistan”. And the women started from time to time speaking in this very tiny, bird-like voice. Well speaking… more of a chattering, but amazing.
Music from one of the members (and former plays) may be found under this page. The Big Dance Theater will be in Germany again this summer. It’s worth a visit. Or two. I’ve seen the play twice in a row.

Well, I took the test as well.
And here are the results… a grain of truth and a lot of sand:
The Loverboy - Random Gentle Love Master
[Spoilers] The Loverboy: Random Gentle Love Master (RGLMm)
Well-liked. Well-established. You are The Loverboy. Loverboys thrive in committed, steady relationships–as opposed to, say, Playboys, who want sex without too much attachment.
You’ve had many relationships and nearly all of them have been successful. You’re a nice guy, you know the ropes, and even if you can be a little hasty with decisions, most girls think of you as a total catch. Your hastiness comes off as spontaneity most of the time anyhow, making you especially popular in your circle of friends, too.
You know not to make the typical Loverboy mistake of choosing someone who appreciates your good humor and popularity, but who offers nothing in return. You belong with someone outgoing, independent, and creative. Otherwise, you’ll get bored. And then instead of surprising her with flowers or a practical joke, you’ll surprise her by leaving.
Your exact opposite:
The Billy Goat
ALWAYS AVOID: The Nymph
CONSIDER: The Window Shopper, The Peach [/Spoilers]
