I’m giving my best to make Wordpress MU work on my server. If you’re interested watch this space, it’s the place where it will be installed in the near future. (probably first week of january.) If you want to try it have a go here. It’s a testserver which will be erased now and then, but gives you the opportunity to mess around with the site and a test-blog. Do not become attached to the testplace it will be erased with the end of the year.

…wenn ich zwei Motorradjacken übereinander trage. Ein weiterer Vorteil ist, dass die Kombination aus Goretex und doppelt genähtem Leder auch bei den derzeit vorherrschenden unasiatischen Temperaturen richtig warm hält.
Wie man unschwer erraten kann: Ich habe mein Mopped aus dem Winterschlaf geweckt. Wie immer funktionierte alles ganz problemlos. Ein bisschen Kettenfett aufgetragen, die aufgeladene Batterie wieder eingebaut, eine Minute den Anlasser gedrückt und schon war der Winterschlaf vergessen. Das Motorengeräusch hat mich tatsächlich an ein erwachendes Tier erinnert.
Die Fahrt war nicht lang, ich habe lediglich einen Abstecher nach Charlottenburg gemacht. Die kurze Zeit hat der Tankstelle vor meiner Haustür aber gereicht, um die preise von 1,329 auf 1,299 zu senken. Natürlich hatte ich getankt, bevor ich losfuhr. Dabei habe ich zu meinem Erstaunen auch feststellen müssen, dass deren Luftschlauch nicht auf meine Ventile passte.
Wie dem auch sei, der kurze Ausritt hat gut getan. Von mir aus kann der Frühling jetzt kommen.

When commenting with my pDA (running Windows Mobile 5 and surfing with the dreaded IE) the page that shows up after I hit “post Comment” will be reloaded again and again and again until I kill the browser. Just as if there were a META HTTp-EQUIV=Refresh in the “Comment is posted” page.

Or maybe you shouldn’t - at least not before removing all those nicely put whitespaces which do not belong there, g-blog inserted them. Maybe the man knows something about that?
Two things keep popping up in my head:
1.) Will the ever so omnipotent ADmin grant us lower species which are the normal users this neato flickr image bar his highness has on his blog? Oh how marvellous that would be. Maybe we should do a big donation rally to convince HIm that this would be a good idea?
2.) Nothing lasts forever. To live is to die. Only decay is for sure. Also I hope that it’ll never happen, there always is the remote possibility that this site vanishes because of some unthinkable disaster (mars attacks? revenge of the sixty foot woman?). Is there a possibility to have some kind of backup functionality which lets me save my entries and the comments to them? Like an RSS-Feed of the whole blog or something?
