There’s a new version for Adium available. Or maybe it’s really the first version because it’s number reads “1.0″. Does that mean, it works now? =)

I couldn’t be bothered to read the changes, but really like that the contact list has user icons now.

Sometimes all it takes to make me happy are little pictures.

    Ich weiss es gibt dort draußen ein paar, die schon mit der Idee von verschlüsselten Mails geliebäugelt, sich aber bis jetzt nicht getraut haben. Es gibt jetzt einen Dienst, der sich Freenigma nennt und zum Ziel hat, Verschlüsselung möglichst einfach zu machen.

    Ich bitte die angesprochenen Damen und Herren mal den Selbsttest zu machen und mir von ihren Erfahrungen zu berichten. Im Gegenzug biete ich an, alle danach noch vorhandenen probleme aufzuklären und verschlüsselte E-Mails zu ermöglichen.

    Über one red paperclip bin ich zum ersten Mal auf Writely gestoßen. Eine von den Google-Leuten entwickelte Textverarbeitung, die im Browser funktioniert.

    Obwohl es natürlich etliche Bedenken hinsichtlich privatsphäre und Datenschutz gibt, finde ich die Möglichkeit, dass Firefox und Internetanschluß eine superteure Office-Suite ersetzen kann total cool. Wer Writely auch ausprobieren will, aber keinen Account hat, soll in dem paperclip-Blog nachlesen, wie man an einen kommt mir einfach Bescheid sagen.
