Hier meine ersten Notizen:
Was sind denn TAGES-Treiber?
Hmm. Oder auch nicht. Jetzt steht schon wieder alles still.
Verdammt. Es lag am Speicher.
(^_^)

[Quote]
When will politicians get that computer games are not responsible for anything? Everytime some fucktard think it’s okay to blow his head away after shooting innocent people some miserable old guy thinks he can make up for his and societies failures by yelling “We must stop killergames! They are evil!”.
I’m now bound to remind you that only a few centuries ago books were treated the same way. And now they seem the pinnacle of entertainment that is deemed appropriate and educating. WAKE Up ALREADY AND CHOOSE SOMETHING NEW TO BICKER AT! HOW ABOUT VOTING MACHINES, RFID-pASSpORTS AND COMpANIES THAT GET RICH WHILE KEEpING WHOLE COUNTRIES pOOR?
Just an idea: Jeck
pS: Sorry. Just had to do that. It will not happen again… soon. If someone is looking for me: I’m going to stab some orcs retaining my sanity nonetheless.

They’ve sent lawyer-letters to game-makers telling them that marking health-packs with red crosses is illegal and will damage the Canadian Red Cross. [Quote]
Tycho of penny Arcade posted an email (2nd post on the page) from a guy who where offered a job at a marketing company. As always I suspected that there are things like this but are taken aback at how professional it is already managed. There you go:
[Quote] Hey guys,
I interviewed for a guerilla marketing business in San Francisco that targeted web forums.
I was told that if I accepted the job, I was to have at LEAST 50 identities on as many forums as I could muster (they wanted 100 eventually), with a goal of 5 posts an hour. The posts had to be well thought out, and the idea was that I was to establish multiple identities with a history on the forums, so that when the timing was right a well written but subtly placed marketing post could be finessed in. And regular visitors would recognize the post as coming from a long time poster. There you go:[quote]They had 12 people working there full time, and were hiring 10 more. You do the math. No wait, I’ll do it for you: that’s 880 posts a day (if minimum was met). However he said the better ones could do around 8 or 10 an hour. And they had different “verticals” so there was the sports guy, and the games guy, the hentai, excuse me I mean anime guy, etc.
But the most critical point was this: develop and integrate the identity. No random “HEY EB GAMES IS AWESOME BUY THIS” stuff.
Kinda spooky.
Didn’t take the job. It was a fucking mill. [Quote]
