Oh man, the nightshift movie is great.
I was surprised to find one of my favourite songs on its official site (http://cashback-lefilm.com/). The song is also in the movie 2046 (which I haven’t seen, but has a great soundtrack).

Overdrawn characters, tideous pacing, idiotic flashback.
‘Beauty’ seems to be reducible to tucking up a shirt and exposing the ass of supermodels who all just happen to all shop at Tescos. Notice how he didn’t find any ‘beauty’ in males or in the old lady at the fishmongers? – now THAT would have been the mark of an artist rather than a pervert.
And what does the annoying git do with his ‘gift’? He gets his mates into further trouble with the manager.
Could have spend the time better… like… writing an email… aehm, I better shut up now.

Of course he could have painted old geezers* but then it is all about cliché, cliché. Although that only would have made sense if his au pair were an old swedish guy. I wonder if he would have picked up the shorts in this case too…

Well, I have to admit: these were fantasies and thoughts I had, when I was about 12. So, for me, this movie seems to be made by a man, who hasn’t grown up yet.

Well, I like the Nightshift movie too. It´s fun and should not be taken too seriously! …and maybe I did too many Nightshifts over the past 10 Years…. ;)
