I played “Guild Wars” at the Games Convention and also read an article about it and now really would have a try at the game. Is any of the usual suspects who read this blog would join me? After all, fall & winter will be coming and I need to something on those cold and rainy days.
The price will be something between 30 and 40 Euros.

Vor der Games Convention hatte ich mit dem Gedanken gespielt meinem Arbeitgeber anzubieten, einen Artikel zu verfassen. Weil ich so etwas aber noch nie gemacht habe und mein Sebstvertrauen in dieser Hinsicht nicht unbedingt gigantisch ist, habe ich den umgekehrten Weg gewählt. Ich bin zur GC gefahren und habe der Redaktion danach den Artikel angeboten.
Zu meiner Überraschung wurde der Artikel angenommen und sogar die Bilder mit verwendet. Das ist mein erstes Stück im Äther wo wirklich mein Name drauf steht. Und das Schönste: Im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Leuten, denen schon Ähnliches passiert ist, wurde es auch gleich bezahlt… =)

I’m back from the convention. I will write more later on. Right now you can have a look at the relic forums. I wrote an entry about Dark Crusade and now hilarity ensues…
I now believe that my social life is planned by some mastermind and/or HQ. That these two events occured in the last 24 hours can not be coincidence.

After many years of “Is it really time again?” and “Oh no, I have to work!” I finally managed to pay proper attention to this years Fantasy FilmFest - thanks to Redeemer who made me read the programm. In spite of having nightshift this week I saw 10 movies. Most of them were really worth it.
If I have the time & motivation I’ll post short reviews to each of the movies later…

- Sign up for a beta key for Company of Heroes.
- Download 1.6 GB directly or via bittorrent.
- Give me a message so we can set up a game of WWII-mayhem. The game works like an upgraded version of Dawn of War.
