Roll a toon?

I heard this term twice and I don’t get it. Are there WoW-Guilds where your character choice is left to the virtual dice?

* Or whatever language that is.

It means to create a new Avatar (toon).

It derives from the act of using die to create a new table top char but doesn’t actually involve any dice afaik.

Ah, okay. It sounded to me like some people were forced play a special char cause they rolled it…
