Today I became a sloppy fashion victim.

I lost 20 € because I didn’t put them away, but kept them in my pockets. Stupid me.

And I went to a optician and finally found glasses I like.

They’re approximately 300 €. *Ack*
And another 240 for the glasses. *Ack*

What should I do now? Is it wise to spent so much money on something you wear? Or is it not wise to, because you have to live with those for quite a while?

i am unsure of the prices of such things over there….

    nonetheless:
about 8 years ago i droped $700 on a pair of glasses *after insurance*

they were, by far, the best glasses i ever owned. i wore them for 7 years, replacing the lenses 3 times until the frame just broke.

the best money i ever spent. ever. without a doubt.

With more than 25 years of being bespectacled respectively be-lensed, I say: it is advisable to spent much money on glasses.
Glasses are in the same league as matresses and shoes. You wear them everyday and they are somewhat important to your health. Especially if you consider the benefits of feeling fine. ;-)
BTW: My glasses are about 15 years old. And as my eyesight is way below yours I’m still waiting to get new ones because good (i.e. thin) glasses for my dioptres cost way too much.

Thanks for the advise. So now I will take some friends that will look at them and tell me if they’re worth it.
