Glasses are in the same league as matresses and shoes. You wear them everyday and they are somewhat important to your health. Especially if you consider the benefits of feeling fine. ;-) BTW: My glasses are about 15 years old. And as my eyesight is way below yours I'm still waiting to get new ones because good (i.e. thin) glasses for my dioptres cost way too much.
