…news from the cafeteria:

This is a few days old. No, that’s not a dish, it’s the trash.
And today there was another yummy … thing: there is no
english word for it, cause I fear schlotze can’t be translated…

Everything happens for a reason, except possibly football.
Seeing the trash I first thought: what a strange wok! or wait, they do a fondue-barbecue mixture…
Hm, these associations sure tell a lot about the generell cafeteria-food appearance.
And the second picture looks exactly like what I expect on the next con. Always good to fast before food-loaded x-mas arrives (which by the way will be the first family christmas in years)
uuh, I am so happy I saw your pics before visiting our OASE.. So, the lunch was just perfect afterwards. By the way, the potatoe soup (”..mit 1 Wurst..”) looked just like the schlotze (engl. stodge).
Nice try, but there is a difference between stodge and schlotze: Stodge is just pulpy stuff. Schlotze means odd coloured low viscosity stodge with little cartilaginous or flexible chunks of an undefinable nature.
