Cool Tool

mp3DirectCut is a small tool for editing mpeg audio directly. You can remove parts, change the volume, split files or copy regions to new files. All without the need to decompress your mp3 into pcm/wav. This saves work, encoding time and disk space. And there is no quality loss through any re-compressions.

Somebody was looking for a tool like this. If only I could remember who it was…

Nice Artwork

OMG!

I lost my ID and my students pass yesterday. While at work I called cafeteria in university where I ate yesterday. But alas! They didn’t had it!

As I was beginning to tear my hair there was one last hope: I called my brother at home who went through my things and found it in my binder…

*phew*

While you’re here, go and check out the wallpapers Huricos found.

Another nice picture I saw today was the little digger on our street. Unfortunatly the wide angle of my camera wasn’t …uhm… wide enough and I wasn’t able to move our house out of the way so these is the best pic I managed to take:

I don’t know why I like this little thing so much. I think it looks like playmobil. :-) The images are hosted by the lomographic society. It seems when uploading the photos the quality is decreased. BTW: Sometime ago Gossip mentioned somthing about G-Blog v2 (can’t find the post) with image hosting capabilities. I wonder how far this project has progressed…

    Vapourware?

CherryOS – A G4 emulator that will run OS X on your pC faster than pearpC does. Or so they claim. I wonder if this is going to happen, for the moment there is just the possibility to ‘preorder’… [via wired ]

    Crash

Just got Burnout 3 – Takedown. If you liked Burnout you’ll love this game. Crashing other cars is a discipline on it’s own now…

    Under Development

ciphire – still closed beta, but it’ll be a groovy and easy way to encrypt/sign mails.

Seems to be a nice tool: nLite – Windows Installation Customizer -

    Thank god. We’re still alive…

There was a gas leak across street and the gas smell filled the whole street. Also it seemed a bit paranoid to me my brother and myself left the house, went for a walk and picked up Squee. As we returned the whole thing was over and under control. Still quite spooky. Funny Fact of the Day: We do live next to a gas station…

Edited because I’d rather thank god than good…
