Althoug I use IE only for Omega Day and Firefox for everything else, I catched a worm today. The little bugger infected a file called svchost.exe in the drivers directory of windows. What the hell, I thought, and deleted it. Seems that this did the job.
Mote to myself: Since this is the machine I’m writing my papers on, I should probably check for virii on a regular basis, save a backup now and then and do all the other common security sense things I always tell people to do…
