Tomorrow “preis der Macht 2″ starts and I am NpC there. As often in the last year I’m absolutely demotivated and would rather spend the weekend at home where things are exciting enough as it is. However, I promised I’ll be there and after some of the other NpCs cancelled (including the one who should direct some fight scenes) I am needed. Luckily Gee got to keep his own car when borrowing the van from his company, so I get my own vehicle to ride there. That’s very fortunate since I have to be back at sunday 1700 for work with the place being approx 550 km away.
During the final fight I’ll be an elven warrior. I hope I can do this I’d preferred to do the mummy as planned. I’ll take my camera with me so you’ll probably get some pictures by tuesday.

Was kann ich gegen das Runterfahren des Rechners tun?
Entweder Start –> Ausführen –> “shutdown -a” oder
Start –> Ausführen –> “services.msc” (oder über Verwaltung –> Dienste) –> Dienst “Remoteprozeduraufruf” (RpC) suchen –> Kontextmenü –> Eigenschaften –> Registerkarte “Wiederherstellen” und entsprechend konfigurieren.
Erster Fehlschalg: Dienst neu starten
Zweiter Fehlschlag: Als ein programm ausführen (C:WINDOWSsystem32svchost.exe)
Ggf die Zeit zum herunter fahren höher setzen.

This is to proof that the wireless components work. I write this while I’m on the campus and online via my new gadget.

There is screaming coming from Sushilord’s room. He is trying to finish Max payne 2 in order to begin with XIII. In the meantime I’ll do my own to flood our appt. with the sound of heavy automatic weapons and dying terrorists screams in Dolby 5.1. I’m still hooked on Far Cry.
It’s such a peaceful atmosphere right now…
Just came back from the LAN-party and am quite exhausted. Just a quick one: If you like Ego-Shooters a lá Half-Life, Soldiers of Fortune or Halo have a look at Far Cry. I played the demo. It rocked so hard that I think I’ll purchase the game as soon as it’s released*. Even more fun than Max payne (no Bullett-Time tho) and excellent map design.
