What a subtle way to make us curious! ;-)
Just kidding.
But to which one of your many strange inclinations do you refer?
Do you mean the *Encryption ON* Sdfka+#SF,-K-m=?`dras? *Encryption OFF*
(I just wonder, whether the word “Encryption” exists in English… I like the way it sounds anyway.)
Whatever, the audience is waiting.
I told you told you told you TOLD you a thousand times, young padawan:
Work on a text editor first before logging in and posting on gblog.
Always.
Also:
Never let pretty Portuguese girls check their email on your computer.
“I’m done. Should I close this?”
No…… don’t!
“Oops.”
Shite.

Many things conspire against the posting of a good blog. Power surges, tangled cabling, OS snafubars, munchies. The demon whose name is Distraction is always there, waiting to snag us from completion. From clicking on the Post button. Constant saving helps us in our struggle to enlighten the masses with meaningful blog entries.
What actually caused it was the tabbed browsing feature from Firefox. I first wrote the post and then searched for some links in a new tab. As I was finished there I copied the last link and then closed the whole window instead of the tab…
Doh!
…and it’s so difficult to to motivate myself to write it again…
This happened before, one would think I learned from it…
The word you’re looking for is: OOOPS!
Here’s to never closing the whole window again.
I have similar issues with Opera. They - the gnomes who tirelessly work on the browser code day and night - should come up with a fix where the Window x is 3 times larger than the Tab x. That, or a “do you really want to close this window?” nag button. Hey, I know it’s opensource and if I really wanted to I can make my own fix. But you forget that I am lazy A, and inept B (: Well, more inept than lazy at any rate.
Wouldn’t it be nice if there was somewhere that all lost posts go to? Like a hidden section in “God’s Library” (The Universal File Dump, or similar) where one can walk in and look for it - “oh there’s my post from way back in 1996!”.
[Quote] I like the word - Decryption. Sounds better (: [Quote]
well decryption sounds more like solving a riddle and opening a code, doesn’t it?
Encryption is definetly more enigmatic (sic!).
So much for the really important questions (on a rainy-cold sunday).

Human error. There’s no cure for it (:
